Leasing Coordinator Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and communication with internal team members
  • Tracking & organizing client sites & leases
  • Develop & maintain target lists for prospecting
  • Research prospective tenants, including contact information, letter writing & follow-up
  • Preparing lease documents and reports
  • Interaction & follow-up with clients & retailers
  • Tracking, organization & follow-up of commission agreements & invoices
  • Data entry of deal files
  • General administrative support, such as calendar management


  • 3+ years overall administrative experience in the retail real estate industry, preferably inhouse with a specialty retailer or major mall landlord
  • Ability to work as an effective team member in a fast-paced & multi-task environment
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy & excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent prioritization & organizational skills
  • Effective & courteous verbal & written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Salesforce usage & management skills preferred
